The owner/operator of Double M Helicopters is Monte R. Myers. He is a 35 Year veteran of the US Army with overseas deployments to Central America and Afghanistan. He attended flight school in 1986, graduated as an Honor Graduate and was given the Rank of Warrant Officer One. He attained the capstone rank of CW5 in his final assignment as the NDARNG State Standardization Instructor Pilot. He has held various positions such as Aviation Life Support Equipment Officer, Safety Officer and Instrument Flight Examiner. He retired from the NDARNG in Jan of 2019. During the course of over 13,000 accident free flight hours, he became qualified in 10 different helicopters(TH-55, UH-1, OH-6, OH-58, UH-60, Bell 206BIII, Bell 206 L1&L3, Bell 407, EC-145, and 13 different airplanes(PA140, C182,A-36, A-90, BE-200, BE-55, C-310, C-12-5 models, Citation 560).
He has worked as a EMS Pilot in Command, Chief Pilot, and Check airman and is currently flying Single Pilot IFR lifesaving missions for a Part 135 Operator in an EC-145.
